1) Biblical Churches have members. Elevation does not have regenerate, voting church membership and, therefore, cannot practice Church Discipline as prescribed by Jesus in Matthew 18 and the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 5. The oversight of Steven Furtick and Elevation comes from an outside board, not members of the local church.

2) Pastors must be biblically qualified and called men, Elevation has women and unqualified men pretend to be such, including Steven Furtick’s wife, Holly. Shortly after the Southern Baptist Convention started expelling member churches with female pastors, Elevation (a long time SBC member church) withdrew from the SBC.

3) Steven and Holly Furtick do not faithfully proclaim a biblical gospel, and they have not repented of espousing modalist heresy and little gods / word of faith doctrine. (Modalism is the heresy that God is not the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all at once, but rather shifts or changes modes between the three members of the Trinity).

4) Steven Furtick wrongly claimed that God “broke the law for love”, and has not repented of that false teaching, which blasphemed God.

5) Steven and Holly Furtick associate with and endorse the worst heretical Charismatic, Modalist, and/or Prosperity Gospel preachers (TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, etc).
